The AAPG Deepwater Reservoirs Geosciences Technology Workshop examines the big picture as well as taking close looks at case studies and technology. The workshop, to be held in Houston on January 24-25 ( is still accepting poster session submissions.  A partial list of accepted talks appears below:

One exciting big-picture presentation will be presented by John Dribus (Schlumberger). Entitled “The Formation of Atlantic Margin Salt Basins and an Overview of the Challenges Created by Salt in Exploration for Oil and Gas,” the presentation will allow for time for questions and discussion.
