IPTC updates
IPTC dates through 2014 announced
Following the resounding success of the recent International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) in Bangkok, held 7-9 February 2012, the 6th and 7th editions of IPTC will be held 26-28 March 2013 at the Beijing International Convention Centre in Beijing, China and 20-22 January 2014 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar. The 8th IPTC will be held as originally scheduled on 9-11 December 2014 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Volunteers currently serving on Beijing IPTC committees and industry professionals who have submitted abstracts for the technical programme with any questions may contact iptc@iptcnet.org for assistance. Companies who have committed to exhibit and sponsor at IPTC in Beijing will be contacted by IPTC staff.
IPTC is a flagship, multi-disciplinary technical event which rotates annually between the Middle East and Asia. IPTC, one of the world’s largest professional society based oil and gas conferences, is sponsored by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
“Excellence in Project Integration” Award nominations due 2 July
Nominations are now being accepted for the IPTC “Excellence in Project Integration” Award for the IPTC Beijing scheduled 26-28 March 2013 in Beijing, China. The Award Nomination Form and Rules and Regulations have been posted to the IPTC website. A total of 17 submissions were received for the IPTC in Bangkok, and we are hoping to surpass this number for the IPTC in Beijing. The nomination deadline is 2 July 2012.
